Pat grew up in the Boss area and as a young girl, she spent many days working on the family farm shucking hay. She was united in marriage to Winferd Lee Hutson on September 4, 1963 in Ellington, Missouri and together shared fifty-six years of memories and were blessed with three children: Karen, Scott, and Phyllis. Pat was a hard worker, who while working full time and attending college thru the mail, raised and cared for her family. Pat poured her heart and soul into teaching, she loved and cared for each of her students and taught each child in a unique way to help them succeed. Pat was a woman of faith and truth, a true Prayer Warrior, and a dedicated member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She loved her Lord, her family and especially all the children she encountered. In her spare time, Pat could be found watching her birds, reading a book, listening to music, or trying to learn how to play the piano. She loved to work with her hands crocheting, embroidering, and quilting. Each of her grandchildren had a special quilt made just for them. Pat’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She treasured the time spent with her foster children and continued to provide for them in many ways.
