Pauline (Anderson) Stagner was born on February 27, 1925, in Dent County, Missouri to David Crockett and Sarah Anna (Rudd) Anderson and passed away on February 1, 2020, in Salem, Missouri at the age of ninety-four years. Pauline was one of nine children and grew up in Dent County. She attended school in Salem where she also graduated from. Pauline was united in marriage to Allen Stagner and they were blessed with three children: Allen Ray, Larry, and Charlotte. Pauline and Allen lived in St. Louis while their children were growing up. She worked at a factory for a short time, but her greatest pride was in caring for her family and being a loving homemaker. Pauline loved shopping and was always ready for a trip to Wal-Mart or looking for treasures at yard sales. She loved cooking and raising flowers. Pauline enjoyed spending her time watching butterflies and birds, especially doves. She also enjoyed listening to country music. Most of all, Pauline cherished the time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Pauline is survived by her loving children: Larry Stagner of Mountain View, MO, and Charlotte DuBoise of Vida, MO; six grandchildren: Jerry Stagner and wife Sherrie of Batesville, AR, Bobby Stagner of Springfield, MO, Angela Dawn Young and husband Travis of Springfield, MO, Donna Leatherman and husband Lenny of Buffalo, MO, Tammy Forester of Rolla, MO, and Pauline DuBoise of Rolla, MO; eleven great-grandchildren: Joseph Allen Stagner, Josh Stagner, Jared Stagner, Ashley Johnson, Tristan Leatherman, Cody Christopher, Chantelle Pogue, Victoria Gilmon, Whitney Gilmon, Nathan Fyffe, and Carter Anderson; four great-great-grandchildren: Justin Case Stagner, Taylor Haas, Leo Christopher, and Bentley Grayson; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents: David and Sarah Anna Anderson; husband: Allen Stagner; son: Allen Ray Stagner; grandson: Donald Jr. Duboise; great-grandson: Dalton Johnson; four brothers and four sisters. Pauline will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Service for Pauline (Anderson) Stagner was held Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Special music was provided by Leasa "Lisa" Vargas singing "Amazing Grace" and additonal song selections played were "When I Get Where I'm Going", "In The Arms of an Angel", and "Go Rest High on that Mountain". Serving as Pallbearers were her loving family and friends. Burial was in the Blackwell Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
