Ruth Ann (Faulkner) Richardson

Ruth Ann (Faulkner) Richardson was born on April 9, 1955, in Rolla, Missouri to John and Myrna (Stacy) Faulkner and passed away on April 1, 2020, in Columbia, Missouri at the age of sixty-four years. Ruth grew up in Salem, Missouri and graduated with the Class of 1973. She started her Christian walk at a young age, accepting Christ while attending First Assembly of God. Ruth loved the Lord and was strong in her faith. On August 12, 1976, Ruth married the love of her life, Louie Richardson at Pastor Virgil Parker's home. Together they shared forty-three wonderful years of marriage and were blessed with three sons: Michael, Chris, and Louie Jr. Ruth was a wonderful homemaker and faithful wife, she was a devoted mother who loved and cared for her sons. Ruth took great pride in raising her children and was proud of their accomplishments. She enjoyed playing games on her phone, especially "paint by number" and watching soap operas on television. Most of all more than anything, Ruth cherished the time spent with her granddaughters. Ruth is survived by her loving husband: Louie Richardson of the home; three sons: Michael Richardson of Salem, MO, Chris Richardson and wife Angel of Salem, MO, and Louie Richardson Jr. of Salem, MO; mother: Myrna Faulkner of Salem, MO; one sister: Debbie Simmons of Salem, MO; one brother: Jamie Faulkner and wife Lajoyce of Colorado; two grandchildren: Cheyenne and Haley Richardson; special friends: Dale and Carolyn Copeland of Salem, MO; as well as several aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. Preceding her in death, her father: John Faulkner. Ruth will be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services for Ruth Ann Richardson were held Monday, April 6, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Song selections played were "Footprints in the Sand", "How Great Thou Art", and "It Is Well with My Soul". Serving as Pallbearers were Louie Richardson, Michael Richardson, Chris Richardson, Louie Richardson Jr., and Dale Copeland. Burial was in the Stone Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
