Tina Louise Dry was born on October 24, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri to Donald Glenn and Elizabeth Rose (Shepherd) Dry. She grew up in St. Louis and graduated with the Class of 1978 from Roosevelt High School. Tina was one of the top twenty-five students in her graduating class and competed in gymnastics, winning several ribbons. Tina worked as an administrative assistant most of her life. She was a fast typist, well organized and very detailed about her work. When able, Tina volunteered at the Armory and enjoyed getting to know the staff and members. Tina was very artistic and in her younger years her creativity and artistic ability were displayed through her ceramic pieces. She shared her talent with family and friends, many who still have items displayed today. Tina was a woman of faith who attended Salem Pentecostal Church of God. She was very kind-natured and would give you the shirt off her back. Tina was a natural nurturer and took care of everyone in her family, especially her younger siblings. She cherished her family and treasured the time spent with them. Some of her fondest memories were traveling to Hawaii with her cousin, Pam. Tina loved snuggling and cuddling with her fur babies, Maggie and Jamie. Tina departed this life on August 8, 2021 in Salem, Missouri at the age of sixty-one years. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother: Rose Dry of Salem, MO; siblings: Donna Conrad and husband Eric of Texas, Donnie Dry and wife Charlette of Texas, Tracy Schofield and husband Mike of Kansas City, MO, and David Dry and wife Shannon of Columbia, MO; nephews and nieces: John Conrad, Jamie Conrad, Clayton Conrad and wife Kristina, and Adelynn Dry; one great-niece on the way; extended family and dear friends. Preceding her in death, her father: Donald Dry. Tina was one of a kind and will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services for Tina Louise Dry were held Friday, August 13, 2021 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Veronica Lato officiating. Special music was provided by Leizl Taylor singing “Amazing Grace” and “What A Day That Will Be” and Veronica Lato singing “The Promise”. Serving as Pallbearers were David Dry, Eric Conrad, Mike Schofield, John Conrad, Clayton Conrad, and James Goodman. Honorary Pallbearers were Bill Lunn, Donnie Dry, and George Dodson. Burial was in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
