Travis Scott Nash was born November 22, 1973 in Salem, Missouri to Curtis and Carol Imogene (Asher) Nash and passed away May 29, 2019 at Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton, Missouri at the age of forty-five years. Travis grew up in Boss, Missouri and graduated from Bunker High School. Travis was united in marriage to the love of his life Cynthia Paschen and together they shared two children: Ryan and Marissa. Travis enjoyed being a truck driver and loved being out on the open road. Some of his hobbies include fishing, hunting, and camping; he especially loved going fishing with his brothers. Travis was a "people person" and never met a stranger. He was well known for being a jokester and a prankster. Travis loved his dog "Little Britches" and cat "Bebe" as well as the pets of other family members. He especially loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a member of New Harmony United Baptist Church in Boss, Missouri. Preceding him in death were his mother Carol Nash in 1999, sister Tonya Fenton in 2006, father in law Thomas Paschen and dog "Puppet". Travis is survived by his loving wife: Cynthia Nash of the home in Grandview, MO; two children: Ryan Paschen and wife, Rachel of Abrams, WI, and Marissa Sellers of Salem, MO; father: Curtis Nash of Potosi, MO; two brothers: Theadore Nash and wife, LeAnne of Belton, MO, and Tracy Nash of Potosi, MO; one sister: Mandy Nash of Farmington, MO; two grandchildren: Hailey Paschen of Abrams, WI, Eyan Sellers of Salem, MO, and one grandchild on the way; three nieces: Taylor Nash of Park Hills, MO, Tara Oker of Potosi, MO, Kayla Oker of South Carolina; one nephew: Brandon Oker and wife, Felicia of Bolivar, MO; mother in law: Mary Paschen; two brothers in law: Kevin Paschen, and Daniel Paschen; family friend: Anita Toney; loving pets: dog, "Little Britches" and cat, "Bebe"; and extended family and friends. Travis will be sadly and deeply missed, but fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved him. Funeral Service for Travis Scott Nash was held Saturday, June 1, 2019 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Uncle Darrell Nash officiating. Song selections played were: "Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone", "Holes in the Floor of Heaven", "Bible and the Belt" and "Go Rest High on the Mountain". Serving as Pallbearers were: Theadore Nash, Tracy Nash, Gary Parker, Ryan Paschen, Carl Nash, Shane Bailey, Billy Cain, Brian Nash and Gerald Sparks. Honorary Pallbearers were: Eric Will, Phillip Thompson, Curtis Nash, Michael Fenton and Brandon Oker. Burial was in the Boss Cemetery in Boss, Missouri. All arrangements under the direction of Wilson Mortuary.
