Beverley Sue (Anderson) Morris

Beverley Sue (Anderson) Morris was born on March 23, 1947 in Salem, Missouri to Wilburn Ray and Evelyn (Smith) Anderson and went home to be with Jesus on December 12, 2020 at Rolla, Missouri at the age of seventy-three years. Beverley grew up and attended school in Salem, Missouri. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jerry "Jim" Morris on October 16, 1981 and together shared over thirty-six years of memories before his passing on July 2, 2018. Beverley and Jim were blessed to share two daughters: Jerri June and Vicki. Beverley had a strong work ethic and was a hard worker. In her early years, she worked in factories and retail. Beverley spent many years as a technician with an optometry office and enjoyed her time there. Beverley was a woman of faith and was a member at St. James First Assembly of God Church for many years. She truly loved the Lord and serving with her whole heart. Beverley also supported Jim in the Ministry and loved playing the piano and singing with Jim. Beverley enjoyed photography and making crafts. She loved her flowers and creating beautiful landscapes. Family was most important to Beverley and she deeply cherished family gatherings and treasured spending time with her loved ones. Beverley is survived by her siblings: Mike Anderson and wife Wanda of Salem, MO, Tom Anderson of St. Louis, MO, Eugene Anderson and wife Judy of Salem, MO, Carolyn Conaway and husband Junior of Salem, MO, Margaret Anderson of Kansas City, MO, and Ronald Anderson and wife Tressia of Salem, MO; children: Jerri June Newton and husband Jim of St. James, MO, Vicki Morris of Rogers, AR; grandson: Joshua Newton of St. James, MO; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband: Jim Morris; parents: Ray and Evelyn Anderson; infant brother: James Wesley Anderson; sisters: Melba Hughes and Betty Gorman; brothers-in-law: George Hughes and Everett Lee Gorman; and sister-in-law: Carol Anderson. Beverley leaves behind a legacy of honor and love for her family. Beverley will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Private Funeral Services for Beverley Sue (Anderson) Morris were held Sunday, December 20, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Bro. Scott Shults officiating. Song selections played were “At The Foot Of The Cross”, “It Is Well With My Soul”, and “Standing On The Promises”. Serving as Pallbearers were Stanley Anderson, Stephen Anderson, Steven Watkins, Rommel Cowan, David Holzhausen, and Rodger Anderson. Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
