Beverly "June" (Cramer) Kessler Parker

Beverly “June” (Cramer) Kessler Parker was born October 26, 1935, in Effingham, Illinois. The daughter of Mike and Ethel (James) Cramer. She grew up in Illinois and graduated with the class of 1953 from Effingham High School. June was blessed with one daughter, Tammy, and later blessed with two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved her family deeply and spending time with them was her favorite thing to do. In her working career she was a copy/writer for KTTR-KZZN in Rolla for five years, head receptionist at Carol Jones Realtors in Springfield for eleven years, and executive secretary for the Highland Springs Community Association in Springfield for eighteen years. June was a strong, hard-working woman who never quit until the job got done. June surrounded herself with friends wherever she was, some of her friendships have lasted over sixty years. Her love for travel took her all over the states enjoying many of those moments with her friends. In her spare time, June liked to sit down and read a good book, she loved to go antiquing and attending arts and craft festivals. Fall was her favorite time of year. June was a faithful member of Glendale Christian Church in Springfield for many years. She donated and volunteered to many organizations that were close to her heart. Her faith, family, and friends were most important to her, she touched the lives of many with her compassion and generosity. June entered into eternal rest on October 8, 2022, in Licking, Missouri at the age of eighty-six years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving daughter: Tammy Jackson and husband Larry of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Jordan White of St. James, MO and Amanda Veach of Steelville, MO; great-grandchildren: Gracie White, Lane White, and Olyv Veach; extended family and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her parents: Mike and Ethel Cramer and her sisters: Marguerite Miller and Carol Whitis. June will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her quick wit, sense of humor, and her big heart will never be forgotten. She will be forever missed by those who loved her most. Graveside Services for Beverly “June” (Cramer) Kessler Parker were held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Jadwin Cemetery with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Serving as Pallbearers were her loving family and dear friends. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
