Brittany Dawn Messina Flores

With profound sadness, we share the passing of Brittany Dawn Messina Flores, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 8, 2026. Brittany was born on April 10, 1991, in Springfield, Missouri, to Wannettie Berry and James Messina. She attended Salem High School and later earned her GED. Brittany married the love of her life, Coty Jacob Flores, on April 7, 2019, and together they were blessed with four beautiful children: Mckenzy Joanna, Madison Kay, Mason Jacob, and Oaklynn Jaymes. Brittany was a woman whose generous spirit and kind heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Above all else, she loved her family. and deeply cherished the day her father James and Abigail married on June 23, 2026. She treasured spending time with her children, taking them out to enjoy nature and making memories together at the river. She also cherished date nights with her husband and the quiet moments of snuggling together in bed. Brittany's faith was an important part of her life. She loved reading her Bible, and one of her favorite passages was Proverbs 3:15–18. Her faith, love, and gentle spirit will continue to live on through the lives of those she touched. Brittany leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She is survived by her husband: Coty, and her children; her father: James Messina, and Abigail; her mother: Wannettie Berry; her siblings: James, Jesse, Seth, Nicholas, Kayden, and JJ; her sisters: JoJo, Aurora, and Courtney; and brothers-in-law Anthony and Kent; sisters-in-law: Raquel, Tamara, Richelle, and Danielle and her many beloved nieces and nephews: including Lexi, Savannah, Knowledge, Millennia, Gracie, James, Brody, Apollo, Aj, Noah, Zebulan and Archer, along with many other family members and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her niece: Kaylee; her brother: Jeremy; her uncles: Anthony and Pauley; and her Granny Sandy. Brittany's life may have been far too short, but the love she gave was immeasurable. She leaves behind countless memories, a family who will forever love and miss her, and four beautiful children who will carry a piece of their mother with them every day. Until we meet again, may you rest peacefully in the arms of your Lord and Savior. You will be loved, remembered, and deeply missed forever. Private Family Services will be announced by the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
