Christopher "Chris" Searles Anderson

Christopher “Chris” Searles Anderson was born November 19, 1970, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He was adopted and raised by his parents Searles “Andy” Thomas and Marleen Ann (Brinkmann) Anderson. Chris grew up in Salem, Missouri and graduated with the class of 1990 from Salem High School. After high school, Chris furthered his education and received his HVAC certification. Chris was blessed with twin daughters: Brooke and Devoney, that were his pride and joy. On October 4, 2003, he was united in marriage to his sweetheart, Pamela Anne Britton. To this union he was blessed to gain two children: Dillon and Hanna. Chris and Pam shared twenty years of lasting memories together. He took great pride in providing for his family and supporting them in every way. Chris worked in the HVAC industry and was good at his job. Throughout his working career he worked for several businesses, but really enjoyed working at the Four Seasons Lodge in the Lake of the Ozarks. Chris liked working with horses and showed Tennessee Walkers. He was an animal lover and loved his fur babies. Chris was an avid St. Louis Rams Fan and enjoyed watching the UFC. Most important to him was making memories with his family, especially his grandchildren. Cooper, Saylor, Carson, and Amelia were the joy of his life, and he treasured spending time with them. Chris departed this life March 26, 2023, in Columbia, Missouri at the age of fifty-two years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife: Pam Anderson of the Lake of the Ozarks, MO; daughters: Brooke Barker and husband Austin of Lebanon, MO and Devoney Anderson and Brad Bench of Lebanon, MO; step-children: Dillon Reynolds and wife Hannyh of Salem, MO and Hanna Henson and husband Waylon of Anutt, MO; mother: Marleen Anderson of Salem, MO; brother: Dustin Anderson and wife Somer of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren: Cooper, Saylor, Carson, and Amelia; cousins: Dawn Montgomery and husband Tal Curry, Charles Montgomery and wife Mandy, and Neoma Sanders and husband Tom; aunt: Roma Jean Montgomery; nephew: Will Anderson; extended family and dear friends. Preceding him in death, his father: Searles “Andy” Anderson and uncle: Charles Montgomery. Chris was a man of faith and member of the Salem United Methodist Church. He was the nicest, sweetest, most kind-hearted man and friend. Chris lived life to the fullest and will be forever missed by those who loved him most. Funeral Services for Christopher "Chris" Searles Anderson were held Friday, March 31, 2023, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Dawn Montgomery officiating. Song selections played were "Hymn of Promise", "Amazing Grace", and "Outskirts of Heaven". Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Chris Anderson to Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
