Connie Louise (Albert) Conway

Connie Louise (Albert) Conway was born on August 12, 1949, in Ellington, Missouri to John Edward and Bertie Elizbeth (Goodson) Albert. She grew up in Ellington and spent her teen years in Illinois. Connie made Salem her home and raised her family there. She was blessed with five children: Johnny, R.D. Shawn, Danny, and Shelly. Connie took great pride in providing for her family; she was a woman with many talents and worked several jobs throughout the years. Connie was employed with several factories, the mines, the treatment center, and was a graphic designer for a sporting catalog. Connie knew her way around the kitchen as was an amazing cook, she was well known for her chicken and dumplings. Connie lived an adventure filled life full of love and laughter. She liked spending time outdoors and was passionate about her horses. Connie loved and cared for them and enjoyed horseback riding. She was a very loved and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Connie cherished the time they spent together and the memories they made. Connie departed this life January 31, 2022 in Licking, Missouri at the age of seventy-two years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving children: Johnny Brawley of Piedmont, MO, R.D. McMurry of Salem, MO, Shawn McMurry of Ellington, MO, Danny Tyler and wife Theresa of St. Clair, MO, and Shelly Davis of Salem, MO; significant other: Robert Fudge of Salem, MO; siblings: Arthur Albert and wife Paula of Salem, MO, Kenny Albert and wife Linda of Ellington, MO, Kevin Albert and wife Geneva of Ellington, MO, and Kathy Brawley of Redford, MO; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death, parents: John and Bertie Albert; daughter-in-law: Melissa McMurry; and grandson: Zach McMurry. Beautiful inside and out, Connie had a contagious smile and a kind, compassionate spirit. She was one of the best and will never be forgotten. Funeral Services for Connie Louise (Albert) Conway were held Monday, February 7, 2022 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Clay Harper officiating. Song selection played was “Dancing in the Sky (Angels Perspective)”. Serving as Pallbearers were her loving family. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
