Donna Louise (Carter) Quesenberry

Donna Louise (Carter) Quesenberry, daughter of the late William and Maggie Carroll, was born October 27, 1931, in Dixon, Missouri. At the age of sixteen, on November 2, 1947, Donna was united in marriage to Glen Fawley. They shared a long and happy marriage of thirty-three years before he passed away. Together they were blessed with three daughters, Rhonda, Gayle, and Diane, with whom she shared a strong and loving bond with. On October 26, 1986, Donna married her childhood friend, Bobby Lee Quesenberry. They enjoyed twenty-seven wonderful years together, filled with cherished memories before his passing on April 26, 2012. Throughout most of her working life, Donna was employed as a receptionist at Fort Leonard Wood. She also served for many years as a kitchen manager and cook for the Laquey School District. Later, she retired from Wal-Mart. In her spare time, Donna loved being outdoors. She enjoyed taking walks, tending to her flowerbeds, and watching the birds. She also had a passion for sewing and quilting. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At an early age, Donna accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and became a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Her faith was a big part of her life, and she found great joy in teaching Sunday School and hosting Bible Studies. She later attended New Friendship Baptist Church. Donna went home to be with her Lord, March 26, 2026, while at the Richland Care Center, having attained the age of ninety-four years. She leaves behind to carry on her legacy, daughters: Rhonda Pool and husband Steve of Laquey, MO and Gayle Bivens and husband Earl of Laquey, MO; sister: Audrey Timmerman; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her first husband: Glen Fawley; second husband: Bobby Quesenberry; daughter: Diane Young; parents: William and Maggie Carter; brother: Douglas Carter, and niece Pam Timmerman. Graveside Services were held March 31, 2026, at the Fairview Cemetery, Laquey, Missouri, with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Donna will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by those who loved her most.
