Jerry Lee Cramer

Jerry Lee Cramer was born on September 7, 1943, in Morrison, Missouri, to Victor and Edna (Whertwine) Cramer. He was one of nine children and was raised in Morrison, where he developed the strong work ethic and values that would guide him throughout his life. On February 16, 1965, Jerry married the love of his life, Sandra Lee Baecker, in Pocahontas, Arkansas. They shared together sixty-one years of marriage and lasting memories. Jerry and Sandra were blessed with three children: Dana, Dan, and Michael. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Leadville, Colorado, where Jerry worked before eventually relocating to Salem. He spent many years working in the Lead Mining Industry and retired at the age of sixty-seven. Although mining was his profession, farming was Jerry's true passion. He took great pride tending to his cattle, putting up hay, and working alongside his son on the family farm, Cramer Farms. He also enjoyed custom baling for neighbors and friends throughout the area. Above all, Jerry was devoted to his family. He adored his children and took great pride in their accomplishments and the lives they built. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy, and he cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. Jerry's love for his family was evident in everything he did. The time spent together created memories that will be treasured for generations. Jerry was a man of the Lutheran faith. He entered eternal rest June 15, 2026, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of eighty-two years. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife: Sandy Cramer of Salem, MO; daughter: Dana White and husband Aaron of Salem, MO; son: Dan Cramer and wife Melinda of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Wyatt Nash and wife Destiny and Moriah Cramer; great-grandchildren: Tia, Rhett, and Reba; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceding him in death were his son: Michael Cramer; grandson: Mason Nash; parents: Victor and Edna (Whertwine) Cramer; and siblings: Roy, Marvin, Aileen, Marion, Marilyn, Beverly, Ronnie, and Brenda. Jerry was known for his sharp wit, quick comebacks, and sense of humor that brought smiles to those around him. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love of farming, his hardworking spirit, and the laughter he shared. His memory will be treasured by all who loved him. Celebration of Life Service was held Sunday, June 28, 2026, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Bill Stack officiating.
