Myrna Roselle (Stacy) Faulkner

Myrna Roselle (Stacy) Faulkner was born May 17, 1935, in Gladden, Missouri. She was the daughter of Elva “Elvie” and Juanita May (Smith) Stacy. As a young adult, her adventurous spirit led her to hitchhike to Washington state, where she spent several years before moving back to Salem, Missouri. Myrna was blessed with three children: James, Debbie, and Ruth Ann. She cherished her role as a mother and homemaker. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, bringing her immeasurable joy. Her bond with her siblings was also deeply important. She enjoyed family gatherings, always ensuring everyone felt loved and appreciated. Myrna had a love for classic Westerns and the music of Elvis Presley. She enjoyed antique shopping and had an eye for stylish purses and costume jewelry, the gaudier, the better! She also took great pride in her beautifully painted fingernails. Her later years were marked by contentment and connection. She found great happiness living with her brother Archie and Janet. She then moved into an ISL, where she formed close friendships with fellow residents. Her time at the adult activity center brought her some of the happiest moments of her life. Myrna was excited to go see Jesus and entered her Heavenly home May 7, 2025, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of eighty-nine years. She is survived by her loving son: James Lee Faulkner and wife LaJoyce of Branson, MO; daughter: Debbie Faulkner of Salem, MO; brother: Gene Stacy of Salem, MO; sister: Carolyn Lough and husband Jerry of Salem, MO; sisters-in-law: Janet Stacy of Salem, MO and Barbara Stacy of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Michael Richardson, Chris Richardson and wife Angel, Louie Richardson Jr., Susan DuBois and husband Warren, Darrin Firestine; and Danelle Cook and husband J.D.; many cherished great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her daughter: Ruth Ann Richardson; parents: Elvie and Juanita Stacy; brothers: Jerry and Archie Stacy; and grandson: Brian Firestine. Despite facing challenges in her younger years, Myrna maintained an unwavering spirit and a deeply compassionate heart. Those who knew Myrna will remember her infectious positive attitude, her ability to make friends with anyone, and her vibrant personality. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will never be forgotten. Funeral Services for Myrna Roselle (Stacy) Faulkner were held Thursday, May 15, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Seong selections played were “Bonanza Theme Song”, “Crying In The Chapel”, “Farther Along”, and “Wings Of A Dove”. Serving as Pallbearers were Michard Richardson, Louis Richardson Jr., Reagan DuBois, Paige DuBois, and Darrin Firestine. Honorary Pallbearers were Chris Richardson, Triston DuBois, and Jamie Faulkner. Burial was in the Green Forest Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
