Nadine Ethel (Freeze) Snider

Nadine Ethel (Freeze) Snider was born March 12, 1933 in Cedar Grove, Missouri to Jess and Ella (Krewson) Freeze and entered into eternal rest August 28, 2022 in Salem, Missouri at the age of eighty-nine years. Nadine was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ferrel Snider December 1, 1948 and shared together forty years before his passing in March of 1989. They made Salem, Missouri their home and raised their family of four there. Nadine was the proud mother of children: Dallas, Judy, Jeanie, and Diane. Nadine was a hard-worker and took great pride in helping provide for her family. She worked in the medical field for a short period of time and several years at the University Extension Nutrition office. Some of her most memorable working years were spent as a bus driver for the Green Forest School District. Nadine loved and cared for each of the students she had the privilege of picking up and taking home. In her earlier years, Nadine enjoyed the outdoors and spent hours working in her yard. She loved flowers and tending to her flower beds. Nadine liked canning the harvest from her huge vegetable garden and took great pride in preparing her food. Her greatest enjoyment was cooking for her family and sharing the bounty with others. Nadine and Ferrel enjoyed the simple things in life and loved farming together. Nadine was a kind, strong, and gentle woman of faith. She enjoyed attending Corinth Baptist Church when she was able. Her faith, family, and friends were most important to her. Nadine was a doting grandmother and adored her great-grandchildren. She deeply cherished the time spent making memories with them. Nadine leaves behind her loving children: Dallas Snider of Salem, MO, Judy Lanier of Springfield, MO, and Jeanie Wood and husband Gary of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Madi, Justin, Blake, Tracy, Sean, Morgan, Savhana, and Stepheni; great-grandchildren: Joey, Lahela, Nijah, Uriah, Asia, Logan, Aubrey, Aliana, Cannon, Luca, Enzo, and Giovanni; extended family and dear friends. Preceding her in death, husband: Ferrel Snider; daughter: Diane Snider; grandson: Tracy Snider; parents: Jess and Ella Freeze; and brothers: Virgil and Odell Freeze. Nadine was one of a kind, full of spunk, and lived a remarkably full life. Her memory will live on in those who loved her most. She will be forever missed. Funeral Services for Nadine Ethel (Freeze) Snider were held Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Song selections played were “Amazing Grace” and “Where We’ll Never Grow Old”. Serving as Pallbearers were Dallas Snider, Gary Wood, Tom Palmer, John Snider, Brandon Snider, and Justin Wood. Honorary Pallbearers Max Arnett and Logan Wood. Burial was in the North Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Nadine Snider to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital and left at Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be made available.
