Ramona Kay (Heath) Stagner

Ramona Kay (Heath) Stagner was born July 28, 1940 in Bakersfield, California to Hubert Alan and Vera Elnor (Shirk) Heath and passed away February 4, 2022 in Chesterfield, Missouri at the age of eighty-one years. Ramona grew up and attended school in Shell City, Missouri. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Delmar Dale Stagner, on July 2, 1960 in Salem, Missouri and shared fifty-nine years of marriage before his passing on July 17, 2019. Ramona and Delmar were blessed with four children: Martin, Robert, John and Kimberly and later added to their family two additional children: Karen and Jim. Ramona was a proud mother, devoted wife and dedicated homemaker. She took great pride in caring for her home and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen. Ramona loved to bake pies and cook for her family; they loved her chicken pot pies and biscuits. She looked forward to making Christmas candy every year for her family and friends. Ramona loved to garden and share her bounty with others. She was passionate about animals and liked watching the birds. Ramona was a wonderful grandmother; she cherished her grandchildren and adored her great-grandchildren. Ramona was a lady of faith and attended Walking Faith Ministries when her health allowed. Ramona leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving children: Martin Stagner of Salem, MO, Robert Stagner and wife Susan of Azle, TX, John Stagner and wife Paula of Salem, MO, Kimberly Johnson and husband Michael of Salem, MO, Karen Schrader and husband David of Salem, MO and Jim Meeks and wife Helen of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Ryan, Devin and wife Diana, Chloe, Landon, Megyn, Skyler, Dale and wife Amberly, Ginnafer, and Boone; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings: Jim Heath and wife Joyce of Linn, MO, Wanna C. Elliott of Camdenton, MO, Toleah Christman and husband Paul of Kansas City, MO, and Marquita Berry and husband Dennis of Peel, AR; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Preceding her in death, husband: Delmar Dale Stagner; parents: Hubert and Vera Heath; and siblings: Michaelene Summers, Zane Heath, and Larry Heath. Ramona was a sweet and wonderful lady full of love and kindness. She will be remembered for her generosity and listening ear. Ramona will be forever missed but never forgotten. Graveside Services for Ramona Kay (Heath) Stagner were held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Green Forest Cemetery with Pastor Rob Stagner officiating. Memories were shared and special music was provided by her brother Jim. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Ramona Stagner to Dent County Animal Shelter and left at Wilson Mortuary.
