Randy Lynn Land

Randy Lynn Land was born on January 20, 1964, in Salem, Missouri, to Leon Henry and Hazel Marie (Plank) Land. He passed away February 8, 2026, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years. Randy was raised in Salem and graduated from Salem High School. After high school, he furthered his education and obtained his paralegal degree. Although he never used his degree, he had a successful career in the landscaping industry. Randy was owner/operator of Land Lawn Care. In 1996, Randy started mowing cemeteries, with Mt. Hermon Cemetery being his first. Throughout the years, he picked up several more cemeteries to include Stone Hill Cemetery. He took great pride in maintaining the cemeteries along with several businesses and residences in town. On March 2, 2018, Randy was united in marriage to Sabrina Lou Garman. He affectionally called her Brea. They have treasured the past twenty years, spending time and creating lasting memories. In 2019, they started following the Hebrew culture together. In his spare time, Randy liked going hunting and fishing. He enjoyed bartering, selling, and trading stuff. Above all else, he truly loved helping others and never wanted any credit for it. He proudly helped and supported the Rolla Mission and the Salem Public Library. Randy is survived by his loving wife: Brea Land of Salem, MO; daughters: Wadonda Todd and husband Chris and Rachel Richardson and husband Weston; siblings: Virginia Shepherd of Salem, MO, Rick Land and wife Debbie of Lebanon, MO, Jim Land and wife Lisa of Salem, MO, Shellia Ball and husband George of Salem, MO, and John Woods and wife Liz of Salem, MO; half-siblings: Henry Geiger and wife Tiffany of California, Gary Geiger of Illinois, Luther Geiger of Illinois, Heidi Smith of Illinois, and Samantha Udell of Georgia; sister-in-law: Teresa Land; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his father: Leon Land; mother: Hazel Stewart; stepfather: Gene Stewart; brothers: Leon Kirby Land and Farris Dean Land; half-brother: Chris Geiger; and his brother-in-law: Kenny Pyatt. Randy was one of a kind. He was filled with deep compassion, generosity, and warmth. His kindness and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be forever missed. Graveside Services were held February 21, 2026, in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating.
