Robert "Rob" Keith Doyle

Robert Keith Doyle was born August 13, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri to E. Dean and Delores Betty (Ard) Doyle. He grew up in St. Peters, Missouri until he was sixteen and his family moved to St. Clair, Missouri. It was there that Rob met his best friend, Tim Lewis. Rob graduated in 1980 from St. Clair High School. Rob traveled with Tim and his dad throughout high school working for a moving company. He later started working with Lou Fusz detailing cars and running errands. Rob retired as a stocker from Target when his health no longer allowed him to work. Rob lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed listening to classic rock and roll music and loved watching the Jerry Springer show. Rob was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Fan; he never missed a game. His family, friends, and Rascal were most important to him. He found joy in spending time socializing with his friends and cherished the company of his family. Rob departed this life September 4, 2023, in O’Fallon, Missouri at the age of sixty-one years. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving mother: Delores Stoverink and husband Tony of St. Peters, MO; brother: Mike Doyle and wife Sandy of St. Peters, MO; sister: Diana Stewart and husband Jim of O’Fallon, MO; fur baby: Rascal; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding him in death, his father: E. Dean Doyle; sister: Deborah Schwent; and his brother: Terry Doyle. Rob was one of a kind. His family will miss his caring and honest nature. He will be forever missed by those who loved him most. Funeral Services for Robert Keith Doyle were held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Song selections played were “Scars In Heaven”, “You Will Be Found”, “Tears In Heaven”, and “Go Rest High on that Mountain”. Serving as Pallbearers were Mike Doyle, Jim Stewart, Aaron Doyle, Chase Doyle, Tim Lewis, and Greg Hansel. Burial was in the Gladden Empire Cemetery.
