William Earl Brockmann

William Earl Brockmann was born January 20, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Kennith and Elizabeth “Ruth” (Whitaker) Brockmann. He grew up on the family farm in House Springs, Missouri. William graduated with the class of 1972 from Northwest High School. William was united in marriage to the love of his life, Elizabeth “Beth” Louise, on July 25, 1998, in St. Louis, Missouri. They shared the past twenty-five years together creating a great legacy and lasting memories. William and Beth were blessed to share six children together: Amy, Heather, Julie, Shena, Emily, and Abigail. William made a career as a boiler maker until his health no longer allowed. He enjoyed being a stay-at-home dad and spending time with his grandbabies. His family was most important to him. William was a devoted husband, supporting father, loving grandfather, beloved uncle, caring brother, and great friend. William loved the great outdoors and spending time in the woods. He was often found hunting squirrel, deer, and turkey. In his younger years, he would come to Salem to hunt and fish with his uncles. William liked fishing from his pond on the farm and fly fishing at Montauk. William was a man of great faith. He liked to fellowship with others at New Harmony Church and most recently attended Hope Church with his children and grandchildren. William entered eternal rest March 19, 2024, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of seventy years. Those left behind to treasure his memory include his loving wife: Beth Brockmann of Salem, MO; children: Amy Monti and husband Wayne of St. Louis, MO, Heather Hisserich of St. Charles, MO, Julie Ellis and husband Jason of Fairview Heights, IL, Shena Terrill and husband James of Salem, MO, Emily Brockmann of Rolla, MO, and Abigail Strom and husband Jeremiah of Salem, MO; sisters: Mary Ellen Brockmann of Valley Park, MO, Sue Hull of Webster Groves, MO, and Debbie Birlew of Fenton, MO; twelve grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding him in death were his parents: Kennith Sr. and Ruth Brockmann; siblings: Ruthie Gioia and Kennith Brockmann Jr.; and niece: Lori Loehr. William had a spark for life and enjoyed the simple things. He proudly wore the badge of stubbornness and had a hard-headed nature, those close to him cherished his big heart, loyalty, and warmth. He will be forever missed. Memorial Services for William Earl Brockmann were held Monday, March 25, 2024, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Doug Massie officiating.
